Greg Stump has been working as an artist, writer, and teacher in Seattle for two decades, with stints as a regular contributor to The Stranger, City Arts, The Comics Journal, and the Portland Mercury. He is the creator of the weekly strip Dwarf Attack and the co-creator (along with David Lasky) of the comic book series Urban Hipster. In 2015, Fantagraphics Books published his debut graphic novel Disillusioned Illusions through its FU Press imprint.
An adjunct lecturer at Seattle University since 2006, Stump teaches comics through several area institutions and organizations, including Seattle Arts & Lectures, the Richard Hugo House, MoPop, and the Frye Art Museum.
