Here’s an illustration I did for City Arts’ “future list” issue (January 2016), with my own tongue-in-cheek “suggestions, acknowledgements, and predictions for the future of Seattle.” A couple of these references will only resonate with my fellow Seattlites: “Bertha,” for instance, is the name of an enormous tunnel-boring drill that’s been stuck underground for most of the past two years.
